TER renews its commitment to reforestation in Canada after the 2023-2024 wildfires

TER continues to demonstrate its commitment to environmental sustainability.

This year, through its collaboration with ZeroZeroToner and the PrintReleaf project, TER has offset the consumption of 41,665 standard pages of paper by planting 5 new trees in British Columbia, Canadaa region heavily impacted by the 2023 and 2024 wildfires.

British Columbia, with its 60 million hectares of forests, is one of Canada's most important ecosystems, but in recent years, it has been devastated by wildfires, worsened by pests and forest diseases.

The tree species planted by TER, including Ponderosa Pine, Douglas Fir, and Western Larch, are vital for the restoration of these forests, which are home to over 1,100 animal species.

TER's commitment goes beyond reforestation: the company adheres to strict environmental standards, such as the UNI EN ISO 14001 certification, and promotes responsible resource use, such as the recycling of used toners.

Every properly disposed toner contributes to planting new trees, turning a daily action into a concrete step for the planet.

Thanks to the PrintReleaf project, and its local partner One Tree Planted, TER continues to support forest recovery and the fight against climate change.
